http://copingwithhope.com) Coping With Hope was developed by a 12 year Cancer Survivor and her Caregiver spouse. Since her initial diagnosis with Breast Cancer in 1996, to her subsequent bout with Secondary Breast Cancer of the Bone in 2004, and until her eventual death in 2008, this couple has found a large amount of information aimed at the medical side of the disease. However, they have found that materials dealing with the spiritual and emotional side of the struggle with Cancer have been lacking. After much prayer, and completion of a church sponsored 40 Days of Purpose program, Coping With Hope was born. At Coping With Hope, written materials represent the sole opinions of the authors and contributors to this site who are not legally licensed, or medically qualified medical practitioners. Coping With Hope is a not for profit organization completely run by volunteers. Coping With Hope appears at various Cancer related events and provides an informative color brochure to Cancer Survivors and their families, spreading a message of hope that only Jesus Christ can bring . Obviously, in order to appear and to provide these brochures we incur expense. Additionally, there is an increasing economic burden that we incur in the area of software, development, and maintenance of this web site. Because we do not enjoy the economic support of being affiliated with a nationally recognized company and due to the fact we decided long ago not to accept advertising, all expenses have had to come out of our own pockets prior to our non-profit designation in June 2005. We have willingly done this as a symbol of our faith for what God has done in our lives. We will continue to do so for as long as we are able to. However, Coping With Hope would like to do more, but our present resources just won't allow us.
Coping With Hope does not utilize advertising or solicit promotional materials in exchange for revenue. Furthermore, we do not accept pop-up or banner advertising so as to maintain the objectivity of the site. Should that policy ever change, Coping With Hope will clearly amend this portion of their policy and all materials that come under that category will be clearly marked for the discernment of our viewer Coping With Hope provides our visitors with links to third party websites and resources as a convenience to our visitors.
